Next Themed Ride: 14th Annual Terry van Fleet Memorial Christmas Lights Ride
Saturday, December 17th, 2011
A perennial family favourite! Join us on a new night route, viewing
colourful Christmas lights displays in the Saanich area. The ride begins
and ends at the Victoria First Church of the Nazarene (4277 Quadra
Street near Chatterton Way) with free refreshments and door prizes
following the ride!
Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. The ride is approximately 20 kilometres and starts at 6:30 p.m. and returns to the Church Hall at about 8:30 p.m. Decorating your bicycle is encouraged.
The ride is free with donations encouraged (suggested donation $5).
All participating bikes must have front and rear lights.
Next Themed Ride: Spooks and Spokes Ghost Ride
One of the most popular rides the GVCC offers! Come join in on this easy 20-kilometre night ride and learn about the spirits who live in some of the finest homes and castles of Victoria. Costumes and decorated bicycles are encouraged. The ride departs from the fountain at Centennial Square October 29th at 6:30 p.m. and ends there at about 9:00 p.m.
Next Themed Ride: Hallmark Tour Themed Ride
Learn about some heritage sites in Victoria and join the GVCC on an interesting guided tour organized in conjunction with the Hallmark Society to heritage sites around Victoria. The ride begins at the fountain at Centennial Square at 10:00 a.m. and ends at the same location at about 2:00 p.m. Be sure to bring a lunch for the lunch stop. The ride is approximately 20 easy kilometres.
