Over 50 riders gathered at Centennial Square for the 2011 Spooks ‘n Spokes Halloween Ride. The weather was perfect - a crisp and starry night, just cold enough to let us know that it isn't summer anymore!
We had a fun 2 ½ hour ride around downtown, Fairfield and Oak Bay with stops to hear ghostly tales about the MacPherson Playhouse, Bastion Square, Pioneer Cemetery, Tod House (the oldest house in British Columbia), and ghosts at the Oak Bay Golf Course and Ross Bay Cemetery. We also stopped to view the carved pumpkin display at Oak Bay Municipal Hall.
Pictures taken at night are not of the greatest quality!
